Job Requirements of Entry Level Data Engineer:

Build and maintain data pipelines for collecting, processing, and storing large datasets from various sources.

Assist in designing and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move and transform data efficiently.

Support the development of data models, schemas, and data architecture under the guidance of senior engineers.

Work with structured and unstructured data using tools like SQL, Python, Spark, or Pandas.

Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to ensure data accuracy, availability, and usability.

Assist in monitoring data workflows and resolving data quality issues or pipeline failures.

Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings to learn best practices and contribute to ongoing projects.

Document data flows, processes, and pipeline configurations for internal use and future scaling.

Contribute to the team’s data governance efforts by helping maintain clean, secure, and well-organized datasets.

Stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and industry best practices related to data engineering.

What We Require
- Willingness to relocate anywhere in the continental United States
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
- Bachelor’s degree
- Programming experience (minimum 6 months), shown on your resume, from academic coursework, hands-on projects, or professional work. Experience must be in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, C, C#, C++, JavaScript, R, SQL, MATLAB, Mathematica, TypeScript, Shell scripting, Go, or Kotlin.
- Plus one of the following, clearly listed on your resume:

- A recent STEM degree (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline)

- OR 12+ months of professional work experience in finance, healthcare, banking, insurance, hospitality, or aviation

- Paid training (3-4 months) to build technical skills needed from the ground up – $600/week

- $2,500 relocation assistance
- Two years of client project experience
- Hourly pay rate of $24.04 (~$50k annually) or $28.85 (~$60k annually) depending on assigned location
