Job Requirements of Business Development Director:
What You Bring
- 3+ years of strategic sales experience in contract foodservice, with a strong preference for experience selling into hospitals, IDNs, or health systems
- Experience working for or selling through a Healthcare GPO (Premier, Vizient, HealthTrust, etc.) is a major plus
- Proven ability to close complex, high-value, multi-stakeholder deals
- Strong communication, executive presence, and storytelling skills
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment
- Bachelor's degree required

Business Development Director

What You'll Do
Lead Growth in Healthcare
- Drive new business by selling our client's dining solutions into hospitals, IDNs, and regional health systems
- Identify and pursue strategic opportunities through direct outreach, healthcare networks, and GPO partnerships
- Craft compelling proposals and lead the full sales process—from discovery to close
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders, procurement teams, and clinical leaders
Leverage GPO Expertise
- Use your knowledge of healthcare Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) to navigate buying processes and gain a competitive advantage
- Build strong relationships with GPO representatives and use contract vehicles to accelerate market access
Retain & Grow Strategic Accounts
- Lead major retention efforts for key clients, especially those with complex, multi-site footprints
- Develop win-back and renewal strategies that keep our client embedded and expanding
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure smooth operational transitions
Be a Brand Ambassador
- Represent our client at healthcare conferences, industry events, and networking forums
- Keep a pulse on market trends and competitor activity to position for success
